a quick update: 5:44pm pst tee is resting comfortably but still cannot stand or walk. he is picking at foods he likes (buttered buttermilk toast and a touch of pork chop) - now, at this stage, he can have whatever he wants! he is sleeping most of the time - but i can feel him move farther and farther into that area where i cannot yet travel.
thank you all for your love - we both feel it - and for all who have also walked this journey, both long ago and recently, it is worth it, isn't it. so much love for such a small price to pay in temporary sorrow...

i'll be away for a while - a day or so.
mr tee is leaving - he has grown weaker and is no longer eating. he isn't in pain so we are here at home - most of the time, he has his head in my lap gently moving into the next part of his world.
i'm spending every moment with him and won't be online very much until he has mad the transition across the bridge.
thank you all for being here to share the many pictures i have of him - soon, i'll share more and tell his story - right now, it is his time - so i'm not going to be here for a bit.
would that i could say that "bit" is months or weeks, or even days - but i am afraid that is only a wish not to be fulfilled.
